Having literally grown up in the corridors and reception areas of hotels and restaurants, the management offices of various businesses and among some of the biggest farmers in the Eastern Cape, Kiewiet Fourie is no stranger to the Hospitality, Retail and Agriculture industries.

He believes that his passion for these industries originated from his early childhood days being exposed to these sectors. His passion for people, skills development, sustainable industries, his entrepreneurial nature, and his commercial ability has been the foundation of his success.

He is a highly motivated and passionate Hospitality and Business Management veteran and turnaround expert with more than 20 years of experience industries, and experience with 5 celebrated brands, he has a wealth of operation knowledge to pull from years of experience in high profile positions.

His exceptional due diligence for all pre-opening projects and concepts has seen him being part of many projects around the world in award winning establishments and Brands throughout his career.

Kiewiet is responsible for leading all operations and overseeing the development of skills and further institutes across Africa.

He domonstrates a strong track record in initiating and leading change, driving results, strengthening operational risk and compliance, and innovating amid a rapidly evolving digital and service-based landscape.

His hard work and dedication to developing and uplifting the youth of today is evident in the daily operations and his communicatikon skills and friendly personaloity have brought together multiple teams by creating an amicable, open, and reliable working environment for all. Kiewiet continues to develop a winning team held to the highest of standards.

Widely recognized as a leader in the luxury hospitality industry, Kiewiet has worked with International Hotel Group, Fairmount Hotels, an array of World-Renowned Celebrity Chefs and The AL Fahim Group, a higly regarded private investment company in the Hospitality, Leisure, and Retail Markets, based in the Middle East.

During his tenure at The AL Fahim Group, Kiewiet significantly impacted service levels in all areas of operation and achieved unprecedented results in employee satisfaction, innovation, and revenue.

His professional path has also encompassed high-profile leadership positions with Southern Hospitality Group, Rmal Hospitality and Fairmount Hotels and Resorts. He began in hospitality as Assistant Chief Steward with The Champneys Group in Hertfordshire, UK, Prior to finding The Creation Group. Kiewiet served as a Regional General Manager for The AL Fahim Group, spearheading the International Award Winning Wagamama Brand in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions.

Awards includes the Tom Zagat Award for 3 years running (2007 to 2009), Top 100 Dubai Restaurants (2008), Most Innovative Brand EMEA (2008-2010). Other positions included Director of Operations for both Wagamama, The Gallery and Luxe-Molen Boutique Hotel.

As the Founder for The Creation Group, he helps create the momentum and drive that sets The Creation Group apart to be an industry leader in everything we do. He is quick to find a solution to any problem and can be counted on to marry creativity with business.

Kiewiet currently serves as Executive and Non-Executive Member on various boards in different sectors Under his leadership. The Creation Group successfully manages 4 Hotels, 9 Guesthouses, 2 Resorts an 11 Restaurants. While his background and interests are divers and cultured, he believes that “Hospitality starts at Home”. A native of the Eastern Cape, Kiewiet earned a Bacheor of Business Administration Degree from Berkley University and holds a Professional Chef’s Diploma among other qualifications.

He is married with two children and is fluent in Afrikaans, English and Xhosa.
